REsole Service
The rubber on your climbing shoe slowly tears aways due to friction against the wall. This makes the shoe lose its tension. You will slip away faster and in the end, it will be impossible to place your full weight on the toe of your shoe. The result is that you’ll have to buy new shoes. Until today.
How does the REsole process work?
The first step in the resole process is to remove the outsole from the shoe. After the outsole has been removed, the rand is inspected and is removed if in need of repair. Then we go through the process of cleaning leftover glue to create a smooth surface so that we can start rebuilding the shoe starting with the rand. New soles will be glued to the shoe, after which it goes through an overnight curing process that allows the adhesives to bond securely. Once bonded, the shoe is shaped on a grinder to achieve the appropriate shape.
We make REsoling your shoe accessible for everyone. Through placing new rubber your shoe obtains that tension that it used to had when you bought it. Through our streamlined logistics, we are able to collect and return your shoes within 2 weeks after the pick up moment.
